Where it began...My hair styling career started straight out of school - cough about 20 years ago cough - when I began a hairdressing apprenticeship and quickly realised that styling was where my heart truly was. In 2010, I exhibited at a wedding fair with the salon I worked for at the time, and something just clicked. Seeing a bride light up when she saw herself in the mirror - that confidence, that “oh wow, I actually love my hair” moment, it was special - I knew I’d found my thing.
When I went freelance in 2015, I poured everything into perfecting my craft and creating an experience that feels calm, fun, and completely personal. What started as a spark has grown into something truly special — a career built on connection, trust, and beautiful, confidence-boosting hair for every bride and nearly-wed I work with. |
A bit about meI live in a super cute village just outside Lincoln with my husband of 12 years, two sausage dogs, Gilbert and Mavis, and cat Arya.
My personality is basically wearing leopard print on the daily, sipping on Starbucks (skinny flat white please), devouring the latest Netflix series with my husband, snuggling with my sausage dogs, Gilbert and Mavis, endless scrolling and 'adding to cart' or enjoying a bit of cheese and wine with the girls. I will be listening to the same 90s & 00s pop playlist forever, a glass of wine in hand, and a touch of glam everywhere I go. |

I’m fiercely protective of my brides and nearly-weds, their energy, and their vision. From quick replies and clear guidance in the lead-up, to quietly sensing when nerves are rising on the morning, I’m there to support, reassure, and help you feel like the most empowered, confident and beautiful version of yourself. My goal is that when you walk down the aisle, you aren’t thinking about your hair at all – you just know it’s perfect, and can step into the moment with calm, excitement and pride.
