You’ve got questions - I’ve got you.
From trials and timings to what actually happens on the morning, I’ve popped the most common questions below to keep things easy and stress-free. Have a little scroll, and if there’s something I haven’t covered, just send me a message. I’m always happy to chat (and no question is ever too small or a silly question, promise). |
Q. How soon do I need to book my wedding hair?
A. I would say as soon as you know your date and you've made a decision who you'd like, get booked in! I only do one wedding a day to ensure each bride and nearly-wed gets my full focus and I'm not rushing off to the next booking. So once I'm booked for a date, it's gone. So book early to avoid disappointment.
Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. Yes, a deposit of £100 is taken to secure your date with me.
Q. What areas do you cover and how far do you travel?
A. I am based in Lincoln and cover Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands. I do travel nationwide for weddings and love visiting new venues. Drop me a message to ask about travel charges for venues further afield.
Q. How long do you stay for on the wedding day?
A. I will always stay right up until your registrar meeting or you leave for the ceremony to make sure everyone is happy and you look perfect just before you walk down the aisle. I will always stay to fit your veil too, it's just part of the service!
Q. What if I’m not sure what hairstyle will suit me yet?
A. Don't worry! That's what I'm here for! We can chat over any concerns at your discovery call but until you have your dress or outfit, I wouldn't overthink your wedding hair. Just save inspo that you love and we can chat through it at your hair trial as to what would suit your face shape, hair type and outfit. I will always make sure you look your best babes, don't you stress!
Q. When should I have a trial?
A. I recommend having your trial around 8-12 weeks before the day. This is to make sure your hair is most like the length and colour it will be on the big day. You will also have a stronger vision for your overall look nearer to the day.
Q. Do you offer hair extension hire?
A. Yes! I offer extension hire for the bride or nearly-wed only. I will colour match you for a perfect set for your big day at your hair trial.
Q. Do you work alongside a makeup artist?
A. Absolutely! I will make you up a schedule for the morning based on yours and your party's styles and hair types and then check it with your makeup artist to make sure there are no clashes and it all work smoothly on the morning. Here are my recommended makeup artists.
Q. Do you offer a stay on service or second look package?
A. I sure do! My champagne touch up service I stay up to 2hrs post ceremony for touch ups and My Afterglow Experience is where you can wow your guests with a second look alongside on outfit change or if you just want your hair up ready to party!
